Kids love cheese!
Saying kids love cheese is like saying Emmental has holes in it. So a special programme with Agnes and Roberto lets children learn how to make South Tyrolean grey cheese or to produce mozzarella, that absolute must for pizza. They can then taste the results, or try some of the other specialities, for instance Oszypek from Poland, the conical cheese from the High Tatra mountains. Conical, not comical: this ewe’s milk cheese needs an hour before it takes on its shape. It is one of the many unusual products on offer at the Sand in Taufers Cheese Festival.

- 14:00 | Have you ever tasted freshly churned butter? At Agnes you have the opportunity.
- 15:30 | Soft - white - round - deliciouserrr: We make small moulds from fresh goat's cheese, put herbs, nuts and flowers on them ... and then - bite into them!
- 17:00 | Patissier Werner Oberhuber conjures up a chocolate fountain with cheese for dunking - really delicious!

- 10:30 | Do you know what a milk centrifuge is? We use it to skim the milk and conjure up fragrant, fresh butter for crispy bread ... you have to help us with that!
- 11:30 | Who would like to have their face painted as a little mouse or make something? In the children's corner there will be painting, snipping and make-up, and those who like board games can help Max the cat to steal cheese.
- 14:00 | After lunch, there is nothing more delicious than a fluffy chocolate mousse. We prepare it ourselves today!
- 15:30 | To round off the cheese festival, we make something sweet together: quark cream with fruit, mmmhhhh...
