In the Ahrntal Valley and in Sand in Taufers they tell a very special story: that of a way of life shaped by farming, the prosperous Middle Ages in a powerful castle and an enterprising spirit reflected in a productive mine. The protection and enhancement of our cultural and landscape assets are important to us. In doing so we make a contribution towards understanding the story of our national community and our homeland and supporting cultural development.
